MacFarlane Pheasants, Inc. is hosting their 12th Bi-annual International Pheasant Management Seminar March 8th – 11th, 2020. The seminar will be located in Janesville, Wisconsin U.S.A. the home of MacFarlane Pheasants, less than 2 hours from Chicago O’Hare International Airport.

One can view the extensive seminar itinerary online at www.pheasant.com. The seminar topics are pertinent to anyone working in the pheasant industry. The sessions are presented by top-notch industry leaders and people who are experts in their fields. There will be presenters from across the U.S. and Europe. The topics include, but are not limited to, understanding Mycoplasma, biosecurity updates, and how to assess day old chick quality.

This seminar, which is offered to people from across the globe, will provide an opportunity for participants to meet and discuss pheasant production with representatives from pheasant production farms from across the U.S., the U.K. and France. In past seminars they have had attendees from Canada, Russia, China and Portugal. MacFarlane Pheasants offers ample time for participants to network during breaks, meal times and Social Hours, where attendees are afforded the chance to get to know others on a personal basis. All meals, beginning with Sunday dinner through Wednesday are included in the cost and are considered a great opportunity to get to know others in the business on a more personal level. Transportation to and from the meals is also provided, so participants can be free of the stress of driving.

Workshops include hands-on sessions on egg breakout, necropsy and a demonstration of sexing out day old pheasant chicks. Be prepared to ask lots of questions in a comfortable environment, and get those questions answered. Be ready to hear of the latest news and information in the industry.
